I have been seeing some crashes as well and I've tried
to keep Flash current.

It has the feel of a memory leak as it tends to occur
when I have several sites open - more than one with
streaming video and other active resources - and go
to close a video page and jump into something else.

Sometimes the crash reporting works and sometimes it
says that is was unable to report the crash - I have
no idea why.

Usually I can just restart SM but last night it turned
the screen black and nothing but a cold restart of my
laptop worked.

I suspect bad memory leaking in SM.2. I notice when I first open everything Typing scrolling and such is snappy. but after a Few hours SeaMonkey get progressively slower. Then it get so slow that I can wait two second before a letter appears after typing. I've tried in Safe Mode so using no extensions make no difference. If I shut down and restart then it gets back to the snappy performance.
