Do you mean "files" or "messages"? If "messages": If messages that were logically deleted or moved from a folder really remain after compacting that folder, I have no idea what's going on. (Are you sure that folder actually got compacted? Sometimes when I do "Compact Folders" SeaMonkey only compacts one or some folders, and have to try "Compact Folders" again, rebuild indexes and try again, or go to an individual folder and do "Compact Folder"). If "files": Are you referring to files under an Inbox/INBOX folder that represent mail folders under the Inbox/INBOX mail folder?
