cookies just to let visitors to see the thumbs! That was not needed

Agreed.
BTW, when I previously said I was seeing the thumbs, I was honestly
reporting my experience when I had viewed one vid and saw suggestions
for related vids. But I have cookies blocked for this site, and sure
enough, when I go to the home page, I don't see thumbs there. Since I
almost never enter via the home page, I didn't realize this.
Still, vids play fine without them.
And in case anybody missed it, the rent is too damn high!
