Can someone look at this page at the NY Times and tell me what I need...
to see these images... or tell me how I can tell, why my browser just
has blank spaces where this slide show should be. :( TIA....

Kind of a slow loader (watch the spinner at top right), but I do see the
images. From the source codes:

The first slide is at
<http://graphics8.nytimes.com/images/2011/01/06/technology/personaltech/20110106-ces-slideshow-slide-I9HX/20110106-ces-slideshow-slide-I9HX-slide.jpg>

Second slide is at
<http://graphics8.nytimes.com/images/2011/01/06/technology/personaltech/20110106-ces-slideshow-slide-5P75/20110106-ces-slideshow-slide-5P75-slide.jpg>.

Third slide is at
<http://graphics8.nytimes.com/images/2011/01/06/technology/personaltech/20110106-ces-slideshow-slide-0LZE/20110106-ces-slideshow-slide-0LZE-slide.jpg>

Etc.

Thanks so much, Paul... at least I got to see those images through your
links. :)

See anything here that your ad blocker would reject?

That's what I was wondering about, because I don't how to make any
adjustments to Ad Blocker. ;)

It had blocked images, and I marked NY Times as an exception... but that
didn't make any difference. This was happening I think before I
installed the ad blocker program.

Well, the easy way to test this theory is to disable the ad blocker entirely and reload the page. If the images appear, you've got your culprit; if they don't, you have to look for another theory.
