And that makes sense to me.
Well, saying don't make it so, and even though the NY Times /could/ have
done that, they didn't. The images are not GIFs, as I've shown elsewhere
in this thread. The only GIF that matters here is the transparent one
they put in front of their images to prevent amateurs from stealing them.
Anyway, we're getting off-topic. I've said my piece, and proven my
point, and I'm done.
