Your last sentence gives you the answer. Firebug is not (yet) fully
compatible with SM trunk. Probably fallout from them supporting FF4's
add-on bar (which SM doesn't have). From past experience I'd guess that
it won't be fixed unless some SM developer provides the fix. Last time I
did. I hope this time someone else jumps in or at least files a bug
against Firebug.
