Using Seamonkey 2.0.14. Created a Gmail IMAP account. Set the account 'Server Settings' according to Google's instructions. Port to 993, server name to imap.gmail.com, User Name to my Gmail login name, 'Connection security' to SSL/TLS. But every time I try to connect, I get this message:
"Could not connect to mail server imap.gmail.com; the connection was refused." I have tried all different combinations of Port # and Connection security options. Same result every time. So, before I file a bug report, I just want to check to see if anyone else can confirm this. Or, am I missing the boat here somewhere? By the way, Thunderbird connects to Gmail/IMAP just fine with the same settings as I have in Seamonkey Mail.
