I installed Shockwave and restarting SM and no joy, I still cannot see
http://i.usatoday.net/tech/graphics/iss_timeline/flash.htm
I get "To view this presentation, you need to install the Flash Player..
GET IT NOW"
What is SM2.1b3 and how do you get it??
Mine is as previously listed, 2.0.14 and when I click Get Updates, it
says there are none.
Thank you

Did you install the non IE version of flash?
BTW, flash keeps cookies on your computer of every flash site
you have ever visited.
Maybe I have to shout. IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH FLASH!! The problem
also has nothing to do with the browser. The problem is that the Web
site is incorrectly sniffing for "Firefox" when it should be sniffing
for "Gecko" -- if any sniffing can be justified.
That is probably the case.
However my question never did get answered.
The IE version of flash does not work with SM.

Now select Windows as your OS. The click on 'Select a version'. You'll
see that there are two different versions of Flash; one for IE and one
for 'Other Browsers'. You need to install the one for 'Other Browsers'.
You can of course have both on your system if you use IE *and* 'Other
Browsers'.
My PC uses Windows XP. If I merely select the "Download now" button on
<http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/> while using SeaMonkey, I get the
exact same Flash installer file that I would get by going to
<http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/> and specifying Windows
XP and "Other Browsers".
Interesting...
