Automatically appliable updates for 2.0.14 to 2.1 will be generated and
offered within the next weeks, but are not ready yet.
Ah. So should I wait for those or just overinstall with the full
installer? I assume the upgrade patch is smaller.
Both ways are fine. We don't know yet how long it will take to have the
updates available, Callek might know more if he's reading here.
I am reading, and I *hope* ~2weeks max, but I haven't delved into
creating them yet so its too early for me to tell.
Will that be sync'ed with lightning to preserve 2.0 calendars& calendar
data? This is pretty critical for many of my users. If there are issues
with lightning, *please* notify first so that calendar data can be
backed up& rebuilt if necessary.
When the update prompts the user, any installed extension will get
checked for compat with the new version, it will notify you before
install if they will not work in the new SeaMonkey.
