On the SeaMonkey menu bar, go to [Edit > Preferences]. On the Preferences window, select [Appearance > Fonts]. On the Fonts pane, select the appropriate default sizes for Proportional and Monospace. You might also select a "Minimum font size", but I left that at "None". Instead, I used the PrefBar extension's Font+, Font-, and Font= buttons. The first two are built-in. The third has to be downloaded and installed from <http://prefbar.tuxfamily.org/buttons.html>; it restores the default zoom when I forget how many times I previously selected Font+ or Font-. -- David E.
