Hi,
i am using two seamonkeys in two different partitions with the same
ECS2.1. One for test purpose and the other for normal use. And one has
a good readable font size for the user interface and the other not (is
very small). What can I do to correct the font size for the other?

On the SeaMonkey menu bar, go to [Edit> Preferences]. On the
Preferences window, select [Appearance> Fonts]. On the Fonts pane,
select the appropriate default sizes for Proportional and Monospace.

You might also select a "Minimum font size", but I left that at "None".
Instead, I used the PrefBar extension's Font+, Font-, and Font=
buttons. The first two are built-in. The third has to be downloaded
and installed from<http://prefbar.tuxfamily.org/buttons.html>; it
restores the default zoom when I forget how many times I previously
selected Font+ or Font-.

Do you still have a Prefbar after the installation of 2.1? Mine went
away with the installation along with the spoofing add on. I tried
installing the Prefbar I had been using (prefbar_5.1.1.xpi) and it said
it was not compatible with SeaMonkey 2.1. Is there a Prefbar that will
work?? How do we handle spoofing now that the spoofing add on
(user-agent-switcher.xpi) doesn't work? Or are updated plugins coming?

I carried PrefBar forward from SM 2.0.14. I doubt if it can be
installed anew with SM 2.1.

When I went to SM 2.1RC1, I had quite a few extensions reported as
incompatible. I went to the extensions folder in my profiles and
located all instances of files named install.rdf. In each install.rdf,
I edited em:maxVersion to be 2.*. Since I have four profiles, this was
a lot of work. In the process, I had to watch for cases where different
em:maxVersion appear for different applications; in those cases, I had
to make sure I was changing em:maxVersion for SeaMonkey.

There is an open Mozdev bug report against PrefBar about SM 2.1
compatibility. Other extensions have similar problems, but I consider
PrefBar to be the most important.

Thanks for the reply. It sounds like more work than I want to undertake at this time. I think I shall just wait until new add ons become available. I thought I had overlooked something since you said you had them working on your computer. Thanks again.
