The bookmark properties are directly visible and editable in the Bookmarks
Manager
window (whenever you select a bookmark).
Not here they're not, unfortunately. XP SP3, I should have specified.
It seems a bit weird there's no Move command available and moving is done just
by
mouse drags. I guess this is because of the newer Tags feature - one may assign
one
or more tags to the bookmarks which automatically materialize as folders. This
way
one doesn't need to create folders explicitly and move bookmarks into to
organize,
but just assign tags.
That's going to be problematic where there are already a lot of bookmarks.
There are no bookmark properties. In SeaMonkey 2.0.x, "Properties" was
the combination of Name, Location, and Description (and possibly other
attributes of a bookmark that I never used).
I was of course referring to "the things erroneously labeled bookmark
properties".
Besides Name, Location, and Tags, you can can view, set, or modify
Keyword and Description of a bookmark. After selecting a bookmark,
select the button to the left of "More" in the lower part of the
right-hand pane of the Bookmarks Manager window.
Excellent! I hadn't spotted that. Thank you very much.
It would still be good to have a folder-referencing Move command in the
right-click menu.
