I use the Sea monkey Composer but when I click on the Publish to Server

Not missing anything.
It publishes the file and nothing more, but you can specify a site sub
directory for the page you want to publish, if you know it.
You can also specify one for images and other files.
What a horrid way to publish by forcing me to know the directory path.
You could always use a separate FTP program. I use gFTP on my openSUSE
11.3 Linux.
Then again I wouldn't touch composer wit a 10 "mile" pole.
There used to be free version of WS_FTP, but you might want to take a
look at the Pro version. It has a 30 day free trial.
