Are there any issues with upgrading directly from 2.0.14 to 2.2?
No worries there, but we'll be releasing 2.2 within the next few days
(max -- likely tomorrow) and in the next 2 weeks we'll setup an
automatic update from 2.0 to 2.2 as well.
So. Under the new accelerated version release schedule,
When should we expect SM 2.3 ? :) :) :)
Between 6 and 6.5 weeks from "today"
So we need to install a new version every 6 weeks ...grrrr.....
or could we wait for 3.0 ?
Well you might. . . .
But you know that the future is uncertain.
I wouldn't try to guess how long the 2.x sequence might be,
perhaps 2.(3,4,5 ... 20), or perhaps they'll re-name the release
right after 2.3 as some 3.x :) . Or perhaps they'll be conservative
in the version numbering race, but do something like a massive
bug extermination and other clean up at some 2.x level.
Would you then wait for a 3.0 labeled version?
