Richard, a while ago, I made the move from SM 1.1.17 (I think) to SM
2.0. I installed 2.0 into a separate location and, as part of the
installation process, it found the SM 1 profile and did some conversion
to produce the SM 2 profile...Note the SM 1 profile was left alone.
Further upgrades through to SM 2.0.14 happened automatically and I'm
waiting for the newly produced SM 2.2 to make the upgrade process
automatic, as well.
I *think* if you installed SM 2.2 it would find the SM 1 profile and do
the conversion, but it might be safer if you installed SM 2 just for the
conversion.
Other more knowledgeable people will drop by with their opinions.
