Mail worked fine, but Browser did not follow my preferences setting to
restore my previous session, simply giving me the SM page. The browser
window now doesn't show my Personal Toolbar and my bookmarks are now not
accessible.

Geoff, back sometime in SM 2.x series, I noted that after an update,
when I started the browser screen (I normally open to just the Mail &
Newsgroup screen), SeaMonkey always went to the SM page, rather than the
three tab screen I normally have as my Homepage. When I mentioned
(complained) about this situation, one of the SM developers said that
this is a one-time-only process, and the second and later times took you
to your normal homepage setting.
Hope This Helps!
Well!! That will teach me to keep my mouth shut....or my typing finger
holstered....Tonight I booted into Windows7 and downloaded the upgrade
to SM 2.2 and I've just now re-booted SM to install the 2.2 Version,
clicked on the browser icon, and got my normal three tabs plus a tab
displaying the upgraded SM page!! Rather than the single SM page I
mentioned above!!
Weird!!
From having the four tabs open as above, I closed the SM page tab, then
two of my normal three tabs, then I closed the browser screen, then I
re-clicked the browser icon on the Mail & Newsgroup screen, and ended up
with a single, blank screen. Closed it and re-clicked the browser icon
and again got a blank screen!!
Something strange going on here!!!
