Besides my earlier reply, also see bug #664574 at
<https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=664574>.  I believe
implementing this will provide the capability you want.

Not only do I not know when this might be implemented, I am not yet sure
it will be implemented.

On occasion, I might filter and ignore all newsgroup messages
posted through GoogleGroups via Google's G2/1.0 user agent
because of spam from that source.
