How many CPU cores do you have, and at what speed?

Start by trying a different SeaMonkey. If using one from an openSUSE RPM, try
the one from Mozilla.org. If both behave the same, try a new profile. If that
doesn't help, try setting a new profile up on a local filesystem. Also try
opening it from a terminal window instead of the menus so that you can see
error messages in the terminal window. I can't upgrade from 11.2 on this
machine because the newer CUPS is incompatible with my proprietary printer
driver.
