The only way to switch to the release channel is to manually install the
latest release from <http://www.seamonkey-project.org/>.
Wrong. You can also switch the channel by editing <SM install
dir>/defaults/pref/channel-prefs.js (cf.
<http://kb.mozillazine.org/Software_update>).
