They ran fine on Firefox 6.0.2, and on IE9, and on a recent version of
Iron, and on Opera. But not on Seamonkey.

I thought that it might be NoScript; I disabled it and restarted
Seamonkey. No dice.

Has anybody else ran into this issue, or is it something in my setup?

Interesting. It turns out that turning on the "Advertise Firefox
Compatibility" option fixed the problem.

This is the precise reason we have it by default, also the precise reason we don't recommend disabling the feature. We are not lying to websites, (we still display SeaMonkey there) just fooling the ones who do things wrong.

And because you likely expect stuff to work "right" on all these websites, even the ones that do stuff wrong, enabling it helps you.
