What is the full name of "the html file" you refer to? And where can I
find it?

Also, where do I find my bookmarks again? I understand the concept of
dragging files to the desktop and re-inserting them, but I'm not sure
which files to drag out.

I really appreciate your help on this.

I'd always had it checked like that, and thus never had an involuntary
installation—until this time. It must have come pre-checked in the
"upgrade" to 2.4 that went so badly.
