Hello, Everybody,
I tried to check for update under Help menu, I'm in SeaMonkey 2.2. I got
an error:
Something tricked into accepting an update in your insecure update.
Please contact your network provider and seek help.
I don't understand this error.
Can anyone of you help me with it? My previous update from 2.0. to 2.2
was successful at the same method.
Sorry for the trouble John,
The issue was corrected for about a month before the security
certificate we use on the update server was changed. The first SeaMonkey
to support the new update certificate was 2.3.1
You were (likely) not actually experiencing a "trick" here, and can
correct this by installing our official "hotfix" extension, (link
below), and then should be able to upgrade that same way again.
Alternatively you can visit our website http://www.seamonkey-project.org
directly and download the newest version there.
(hotfix:

Again, sorry for the trouble.
