Is it really, Really, REALLY necessary to recirculate 76 lines of previously circulated correspondence, nested to a depth of eight levels, simply in order to adduce this one simple fact ? Do those who use Usenet as opposed to the list-server really have no edit functionality to call on, in order to avoid burdening the rest of us with material that we have seen and read so many times that we can probably recite it with greater accuracy than the opening lines of Genesis ?
