Properties, then the Retention Policy tab. Pick your poison.
AFAIK, this has been a feature for many versions. Same in Thunderbird
as well.
As far as I can see, this does not work for IMAP only for POP3. I have
tried it out and it does not work for me, and yes, I do use IMAP.
You could be right; I don't use IMAP.
