Is there a way to copy Bookmarks& Mail to a flash drive for trasnfer

Sure. Just make sure to really use the same SM version on both sides (minimum SM 2.1, better current SM 2.5).

If you're on Windows, you may want to give MozBackup [1] a try. Never used it myself. Its description suggests it can do what you want, but maybe it's not selective enough.

For bookmarks, you can do one of the following:
a) Copy the places.sqlite file from the profile folder. Note that this also contains your browsing history. If copying that additionally is OK and you don't need the data from the target anymore, this is the easiest way. b) From the Bookmarks Manager, use Tools/Backup (source side) and Tools/Restore/Choose Files (target side). This will migrate all your bookmarks but leave out the browsing history. c) Set up SeaMonkey Sync on both PCs and choose to let SM replace your bookmarks on the target side. d) From the Bookmarks Manager, use Tools/Export HTML (source side) and Tools/Import HTML (target side). This is a suboptimal solution since you will lose some data (favicons, tags etc - basically anything that Places-based bookmarks management of SM 2.1 and later offers over older versions).

For mail, I only have some pointers (didn't try it myself):
- All mail data is stored under the Mail directory inside your profile folder. You can copy it, but SM on the target side won't know about all of it until you create accounts and point them at it (choose Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings, select an account and check the "Local directory" path). The linking information is stored in prefs.js.
- The ImportExportTools [2] may do the job. Give it a try.
- For details, check the MozillaZine Knowledge Base, e.g. [3].
