I have use the default installation. Chrome and all other browsers
work fine. And there are other Web sites that I have image problems
with Seamonkey, many Wikipedia images for example.

Maybe I'm missing some GIFs that you know about, but I see charts all
over the place.

Same here.
The only difference I see between SM 2.5 and IE 8.0 is that the IE page
is cluttered with ads because it doesn't support AdBlockPlus.
