It's almost as bad as Microsoft Developers forcing Excel& other
office application users to switch to their new fangled 'ribbon menu'
system, losing a host of previous functions in the process and
destroying hundreds of thousand's (millions?) of long term user's
years of application experience and competence. Those developers must
have just come out of high school and are starting from scratch. I
hope someone does something like that to them in 10 - 15 years.

Off-topic, but a very sincere "hear, hear".

File / Edit / View / Insert / Format ... / Help / ... were so logical,
so user-friendly. Now we have one crazy icon that is supposed to subsume
everything. Fine for those that never learned to read at school, completely
useless to those of us that respond to words, not images. So I have just
ordered a brand-new PC, pre-loaded with Office 2003, and I have no intention
of upgrading to Office 2007 in my lifetime. Now if I could only make
Windows 7 look and feel like Windows XP, I would be in Heaven.
