I accessed it just fine by clicking it in your message. My SM 2.5
ignored the "blocked::" and took me straight to the website.
No !!!! i access it also by clicking on a link in my message, this is
because i *cannot* create a link where the link location contains a
string composed of a normal link with added some "blocked::" string
before it.
Replying in HTML so you can see what we’re talking about.
In the plain-text message you sent last time, I click the quoted
material but SM ignores everything before http... and takes me to the
site. In plain text, there /*are no*/ links, so SM does its own
analysis, and it knows better than to include “blocked::blocked:” in the
location.
In an HTML message created by your friend with the malfunctioning
software, you see a link that looks good but doesn’t work, like this one:
www.arpernaz.be/ <blocked::blocked::http://www.arpernaz.be/>
This is because your friend’s software is able to lie convincingly and
force SM to include “blocked::blocked:” in the link. Clear?

Parially clear, because it doesnot force SM to include
“blocked::blocked:” in the link - the inclusion is present in the source
of the mail.
see hereafter a copy/paste of a part of the source of the received mail:

And you think this is _SeaMonkey's_ fault???
A proper link would look like this:
<a href="The URL goes here">The display text (including images) goes
here</a>
Anything the sender puts between the quotation marks is taken by the
receiving program as the URL. So if the sender puts garbage in there,
the receiving program will dutifully try to look up the garbage and
fail. This is what I mean by "lie convincingly."
