Recently, Seamonkey sometimes experiences 25 to 30% CPU time by

about it, but didn't really find any work arounds other than closing
tabs until it stopped, or using Task Manager to end the process.

What's the best way to avoid the slowdown from it? Does 2.6.1 fix it?

Before I uninstalled Flash completely from my machines, I noticed the same issue whenever I left a tab open for an extended period of time with a Flash video loaded. Banner ads, YouTube videos, etc would all do this.

Obviously not using Flash is an extreme solution, or closing tabs with Flash video when you're done is cumbersome, but it seemed to work for me.
