Three years ago our ISP changed from Verizon to FairPoint. My Mail
history seemed to have disappeared when I upgraded to SM 2.5 (now on
2.6.1). In looking in my profile, I saw two Mail folders (now three, but
more on that later), one for Verizon and one for FairPoint.
Reasonably current messages seem to appear randomly in each of these,
but with Verizon also containing older ones (and therefore size is much
larger). In the account pane in Mail/News, only FairPoint appears, but
seems to contain all (and only) recent messages.
Need help! How do I get the older messages into Mail/News, and then get
rid of the Verizon Mail folder? (And finally, just today noticed a third
Mail folder in the profile--Verizon-1! Good grief!)
All help would be greatly appreciated.
