Indeed; if the start of the reply cannot be seen without
vertical scrolling, then I routinely ignore the message.

Disadvantage to that in a support setting is then last item tried to
remedy a problem or suggestion is at the bottom. but then if everything
is clipped then suggestions before are lost. So clipping in a Support
situation is wrong as well.
