In the last couple of days I've lost the ability to open a SM browser
window when clicking on a link in an e-mail -- this has happened on
two different computers, which is really odd. Both are running Windows
XP, SP3.

Is there a common cause or cure for this problem?

I don't THINK this is connected to the 2.7 upgrade...

1. Close all browsers
2. Open Internet Explorer
3. Make it the default browser
4. Close it
5. Open SeaMonkey
6. Make it the default browser
7. Close it
8. Click on your email link

I've read where Windows will screw up the default setting (in the registry?) if you reinstall/upgrade a 'default', and not retain that info.
