does anyone have this working in SeaMonkey?

these are what Microsoft says should work:

pop3.live.com - 995 ssl
smtp.live.com - 587 start/tls

but it never does...

Do you have a Hotmail account that is actually eligible for POP access? I
seem to remember that the free accounts were changed, oh a decade ago, to
webmail access only -- unless you upgraded to a fee-based account.

i was casting about for a new e'mail address and thought i'd see how windows live was working w/in Seamonkey... encouraged by this article dated 2009...

http://www.ghacks.net/2009/03/14/hotmail-pop3-configuration/

which says its available to anyone...

i've had it work for a few days at a time... but it always begins throwing up errors after three days or so...

its no biggie, just wondered if i was the only one scratching my head...
