There is a multiple user/profile feature with Firefox, Thunderbird, and
SeaMonkey.

You can use the built in profile manager to create and manage them.

Even better is the stand alone profile manager which I use to manage 5
Firefox, 2 Thunderbird and 2 SeaMonkey installations.

A way to Clean up the user profile is being worked on for Firefox 13 or
later.
