Found it: Edit|Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings|<account>|Synchronization & Storage|Disk Space: Don't download: x Messages larger than __ KB Odd that it's in a different menu than POP (Edit|Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings|<account>|Disk Space).
