Forgot to say: The change only affects new profiles, i.e. any profiles
created with SM 2.1 through 2.8 will *not* magically get the chrome
folder with a future SM version.
So the upgrade to take SM 2.8.x to SM 2.9 *will not* take SM 2.8.x to SM
2.9, then??
Because an upgrade only upgrades the program, not the prefs.js file!! O.K.
I don't know what you are talking about. I was talking about the chrome
folder which is not created automatically if you create a new profile
with SM 2.1 through SM 2.8.
