Flash player on Linux has had issues with sound breaking forever. Make sure you are using the latest player. I am willing to bet your problems started with an update or something that changed your plugin.

Build identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686 on x86_64; rv:10.0.2) Gecko/20120216 SeaMonkey/2.7.2 In the last week or so, when I have clicked on a Usenet link to view a video (any video) at youTube, I get the video but no sound. Don't know when this started, as I'm just catching up on my Usenet groups. If I watch a video that I've downloaded from elsewhere, I get sound, when I shut down this computer, I get the usual "ping", just no sound from youTube!! Anybody got any suggestions for me?
