I wonder why they didn't just use/promote the add-on mentioned at the start of the bug: <https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=376997#c3> <https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/imagetweak/> <http://cafxx.strayorange.com/ImageTweak> and leave it at that.
