I had this kind of problem when first I ventured on to Usenet, Dr Bill
and, much like you, railed against doing anything about it!
You can fiddle at the edges, or perhaps adopt *****@nomail.afraid.org
set up specifically for the likes of you and me for posting on Usenet.
