I converted from Seamonkey 1.1.13 on Slackware 12.2
to Seamonkey 2.1b3 on Slackware 13.37 by following
this rather cumbersome procedure.

(1) Set up Slackware 13.37 Linux kernel 2.6.37.6 on
      new machine and create/log in as normal user.

(2) $ rm -rf .mozilla

(3) $ startx

(4) $ mozilla (in window)

(5)       [exit mozilla]

(6) $ cd .mozilla/seamonkey

(7) $ rm -rf *.slt

(8) $ scp -p -r -v root@oldsys:/home/olduser/.mozilla/seamonkey/*.slt
browser.default

(9) ~/.mozilla/seamonkey$ vi profiles.ini
                change the last line
                     Path=????????.slt
                         to
                     Path=browser.default

(10) ~/.mozilla/seamonkey$ cd

(11) $ startx

(12) $ mozilla (in window)

(13)       [exit mozilla]

*** ALL DONE ***

 - Yaakov

p.s. Why does Seamonkey create files with confounded "*.slt" names in
.mozilla/seamonkey?
