I thought the same at first, but the behavior in bug 724966 (menus
disappear when entering submenus -- as opposed to moving left or right
on the menu bar) is exactly what I get if I revert b45785802731 *but
not* 050334f9128c. Only if I revert 050334f9128c I get the flawless 2.9
behavior back.
I've already asked Ginn and he said he couldn't reproduce it -- which
means it's fine with metacity -- so I thought I'd ask here before filing
a bug. But I'll try some newer FVWM version first, 2.6.2 is from last year.
