Indeed, must be you're setup,

I have used SeaMonkey for the last year or so, and I would-not change for any
other setup.

Have you tried disabling all add-ons and plugins?

If not - then do so and see if there are any improvements???????

I have personally been there before, I found the culprit (I can't remember what
it was), removed it and found an alternative, and all was good.

SeaMonkey is a good, 'read-deal' package - you MUST have something wrong with
your setup or system somewhere.

Try disabling all add-ons and plugins, and tell us how that goes.

Thanks
