Mostly, but not quite. Many (but not all) videos are also available in
HTML5 Video, i believe in the WebM format. Disabling the Flash plugin
and checking if the video works as HTML5 is a valid test -- maybe the
problem is with Flash...
It looks like YouTube dosen't support HTML5 for SM at all at this point:
https://www.youtube.com/html5/
If you Google "force youtube html5" you'll get a bunch of ways to do it
using scrip hacks...but I thought there was an easier way - like a
different URL you could go to?
Sure it does:
<https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iwRyowV_tyA&feature=related>
[A 70th Birthday Tribute To Muhammad Ali]
works just fine for me w/HTML5
How can one tell that that is actually an HTML5 playback? They are in
the process of switching and many post are now presented in multiple
formats depending on browser/device.
I had heard something about using a specifier in the YouTube URL to
force HTML5, but I forget just what it was. This URL doesn't look like
it - yes, it works for me. But I haven't been having any problems with
YouTube.
