This is looking more and more like a hardware or OS problem for me. Thanks to those who replied.

Seamonkey uses the most RAM no my workstation, so I figure it's just a symptom of some larger problem.

Interestingly, memtest86+ has tested my system overnight for a week now and still has not shown any issues.
