Long web pages, with a lot of contents, really hog precious memory,
CPU, etc.
There is one more giant abuser of this practice: Facebook. The further
down you scroll, the longer the page gets.
It is a good thing that I don't use Facebook. :) However, Twitter uses
it too. Argh! :(
