Shockwave Flash failures

I am using version 11.5.502.135, SM 2.13.1 on 
Windows 7 64 bit.  The flash continually crashes 
and freezes the browser for minutes onend.  I find 
this extremely annoying and it seems to always 
happen when booting up in the morning.Sometime I 
just switch to IE which I seem to beusing more often.
