When I to use the AddonsMozilla.org search box using Firefox, it

I realize this is an older version of SeaMonkey but shouldn't it be
able to handle this basic task? Am I missing something?
Well SeaMonkey 2.0.x corresponds to Firefox 3.5. Do you see the same
problem with Firefox 3.5?

I confess to being a bit of a Luddite, but I'm up to FF v.14 now, so I can't
make that comparison. Maybe someone else has 3.5 installed and can post the
results.
Just installed Firefox 3.5.19 to test, and although I don't quite
understand your problem, I see results when I do a search. The
extensions that are not compatible with Firefox 3.5.19 are lighter in
the display, than those that are compatible.
