Exactly what I would have done -- and have done before -- except that for safety, I would COPY the folder instead of moving it. If anything goes wrong, or you change your mind, you still have the original.
Of course, on Windows systems, at least those of recent vintage, an order to move a file or folder between different drives or computers is realized as a copy anyway.
