Some users might find Reset useful. However, it removes all extensions.
I have 18 extensions installed in SeaMonkey. I rely upon almost all of
them at least once a day if not more often. Reinstalling them would be
a bother.
Furthermore, removing AdBlock Plus would remove all the custom filters
that I setup over a period of three years. Removing PrefBar would
remove custom buttons that I created over a period of four years. I
really would not appreciate having to redo all that.
Thus, I would likely never use Reset.
I don't think Reset is targeted for you.
IMHO it is for the not advanced user who gets the app's knickers in a
knot and doesn't have the technical aptitude to fix it. This is not for
advanced users. It is best for the less technical user.
