Jeff, while you have re-installed SM 2.15.2, have a look at Edit->Mail &

Newsgroup Account Settings. Select "Server Settings" for your e-mail

account, and note the "Local directory:" location

Then re-install the update to SM 2.16 and then check where it thinks the

"Local directory:" is located.

Are the the same location??

Daniel, thanks for tip & yes they are the same location. Tried 2.16 again today & in the
folder pane I can now see all my email folders but when I click on folder to open up to see
emails I get tab that says "undefined" and I cannot see any of the emails in folder.
Took a screen shot if that would help. Thanks gain

O.K., if I reading you right, you have your mail account compacted so that, in the "Mail & Newsgroup" screen, it is just an account name, then when you click on the name, it expands to show the Inbox, Sent, etc, and these are all empty. Right??

Have a look at Tools->Switch Profiles. Do you see more profiles than you expected?? If so, select the other profiles to see if your mail is in one of the other profiles.
